Elizabeth’s journey to self exploration began 7 years ago and she continues to expand her “self” knowledge through the practice of Yoga. Yoga has helped her increase strength and endurance; gain flexibility; tone, build muscle and reduce fat. It has helped her quiet her mind and reduce her stress so that she is at peace and more focused throughout the day. Practicing yoga has also helped her find her strengths in life allowing her to accomplish her dreams, goals and desires. Elizabeth is RYT-200 certified Yoga Teacher through Anahata Yoga and Wellness. She currently teaches Hatha yoga. Her calming approach helps the mind and body to fully connect through conscious breathing. We are faced with challenges throughout the day and through the practice of yoga Elizabeth will help to focus the mind so that we can remember the precious gift that life is. Elizabeth believes that through the practice of yoga, we will be more at peace with ourselves which will empower us to become responsible for our own well-being. Once we have established our own wellness, we will then be able to build stronger families, sustainable communities and create a healthier planet for all humanity. In her spare time Elizabeth enjoys rock climbing, hiking and roller blading with Luna, her canine companion. She loves getting her hands dirty in her sustainable garden, and on those warm sunny days she enjoys quiet moments in her patio where she can sit and take in the warmth of the sun, and the sweet songs of the birds. With the love and support of her husband and children she continues to feel blessed by life.
