SOUND BATH-SOUND HEALING JOURNEY

A sound healing/ sound bath is a deep immersion of sound where the participants lay down, and get bathed by the vibrations of gongs, singing bowls, drums, rain sticks, chimes and other sound healing instruments.

Sound baths are meant to help facilitate a shift in your brainwave state. Through frequency and entrainment with sound it’s easy to shift our normal beta state (normal waking state) to alpha (relaxed state), with many of the people reaching theta (meditative state) and even delta (where internal healing can occur).

There are several ways sound healing occurs.

· Sympathetic resonance

Through the projection of like vibration of a sound tool’s pure, vibrational sounds; the waves go to the area of imbalance, the weak or dissonant frequency is transformed and optimal resonance is restored.

Entrainment occurs when two or more rhythmic cycles become synchronized.
